Want to keep the little ones entertained while you pamper yourself in luxurious surroundings? If you’re willing to splash the cash, try the five star Hotel Pineta. At the Children’s Wonderland you’ll find the Barbie Activity Centre, theatrical workshop, an educational vegetable garden as well as the usual activities. Budget friendly in Costa Brava - seven nights, from £499 for two people
Fancy a good old-fashioned fly and flop holiday to shake off those winter cobwebs? There are plenty of Costa Brava Easter holidays for the taking over at loveholidays - and you won’t have to remortgage your house to afford them either. Fly on Easter Sunday (21 April) for the cheapest deal of all: a seven-night stay at the three-star Blue Sea Montevista Hawai in Lloret de Mar for £499 for two guests. Fancy different dates or hotel? There are plenty of options for week-long trips to this popular Spanish destination at under £300 per person. Chill out in Barbados - seven nights all inclusive, £5,315 for two adults & two children
If you want Easter to be a relaxed affair, jet off to Barbados from London Gatwick for some of those irresistible Caribbean vibes. Virgin Holidays is offering a seven-night, all-inclusive stay at Savannah Beach to a family of four for a total of £5,315 - or £1,329 per person. Fly on 16 April and return on 23 April. The hotel is set right on the beach within a jaw-dropping UNESCO World Heritage Site. There’s plenty for kids and teens, with two children’s clubs and a family entertainment centre. For adults if relaxing is the order of the day you’ve got two pools, a spa, three restaurants, and a handful of bars to help while away the hours.
Beautiful Barcelona - three nights room only, from £340 per person
If the kids are old enough to appreciate a city break, what better place than Barcelona, the beating heart of Spanish culture and history. At lastminute.com a holiday including flights from London Stansted departing on 18 April and rooms at Hotel Novel costs from £340 per person sharing. The hotel is located very centrally in Barcelona allowing families to make the most of their low-hassle stay, and three nights is plenty of time to catch the Sagrada Familia (just make sure to pre-book your tickets if you want to see inside), take a walk around Gaudi’s art installation of Parc Guell, and enjoy a whole lot of tapas.
